Three little outfits...

...all ready for the three (3) Humpty Dumpty dolls I have been making to sell.

Life has gotten in the way of finishing them as soon as I had hoped, but I do plan to have them available for purchase on my website by mid-week.

By the way, if you haven't been to my Facebook page, I have been working on a new pattern that will be available for download by tomorrow evening. It will be FREE until May 1, 2014.

Bunny Pattern Available Soon!

Our latest pattern is now available for purchase in our Pattern Gallery!

Recently I tried my hand at using wool felt and the buttonhole stitch to create a penny rug. I was immediately hooked imagining all sorts of patterns that could be created using this technique.

This pattern is my first "penny rug" type; it is a full-sized pattern for a napkin holder, silverware holder and a wine glass slipper. Perfect for the Easter table or any spring or summer occasion.

I prefer using wool felt, but the pattern can also be made with 9" x 12" acrylic felt squares sold at most fabric stores. I have been purchasing my wool felt online at Prairie Point Junction.

By the way, I am working on another free pattern...a bunny rabbit. It should be online this weekend.

Wherever I go...Whatever I do...

Dolly and Zoe are my two 13-year-old cockapoos who follow me everywhere.  Here they are patiently waiting while I sew and create!

Today, I have been working on the clothes for the Humpty Dumpty dolls...two outfits finished and one left to finish tomorrow!

Welcome to my dollmaking blog!

I have been a dollmaker and pattern designer since 1992.  In 1995, I created a website called Cloth Dolls by Stitch 'N Stuff where you can purchase my patterns or any of the dolls that I currently have available.

When you visit my website, don't forget to check out my free patterns and hints available from a link in the Pattern Gallery.

I thought I would start out by showing pictures of my three (3) Humpty Dumpty dolls in progress made from my original Humpty Dumpty pattern. These dolls, and the pattern, are one of my best sellers. I have a hard time keeping the completed dolls in stock.

Below is a picture of the three I am currently working on. I am in the process of making their clothes.

Please post any dollmaking suggestions or hints to share.  Also, if you have any questions regarding dollmaking, I will try to answer them.

Be sure to bookmark my blog to watch Humpty's progress!
